The DJI by presidents

To consider the Dow Jones Industrial Average only by who is president is simplistic and misleading to a large degree. But I still find it visually compelling and I am an artist, not an economist, so I make these comparisons guilt free. Despite GW taking the Dow higher than it has been in history, he ended his term with a loss. You can see the percent change per presidential in the upper right of each graph I captured from Google. They don't catalogue each day, so it isn't exact to the day of inauguration, but again, as an artist, I don't care.
